🚩 Newadhiya Princely State: Origins and Glorious Lineage Roots of Valor: From Prithviraj Chauhan to Bariyar Shah The foundation of this illustrious dynasty is nourished by the valorous bloodline of Bharatvarsha’s last Hindu Emperor, Maharaja Prithviraj Chauhan. Maharaja Someshwar Dev Ji Chauhan (of the Vatsa Gotra) had two sons: The elder — Prithviraj Chauhan The younger — Chahir Dev From Chahir Dev’s lineage emerged Ranvijay, and from his middle queen was born Maharaja Bariyar Shah. After the fierce Battle of Delhi, Bariyar Shah Ji sought refuge in the sacred city of Ayodhya . In 1248 AD, he laid the foundation of the Jamuwava Princely State, nearly 90 km south of Ayodhya — marking the beginning of a new royal era.
